Crystal Clean (CC)
is a leading environmental waste services company headquartered in Hoffman Estates, IL. As a member of the Senior Management team, the VP of Operations is directly responsible for the overall operation and service level of all CC waste processing facilities including hazardous, non-hazardous and antifreeze operations. The VP of Operations will have overall P&L responsibility and develop, implement, enforce, and monitor company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures.Essential Duties:
Collaborate with COO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels.Plans, organizes, and manages the activities, budget, and personnel for all assigned facilities.Develops metrics and monitors performance and take corrective measures when necessary.Plans and coordinates operational work activities; organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work; monitors status of work in progress and inspects completed work; consults with assigned staff, assists with complex/problem situations, and provides technical expertise.Develops capital budgets and manages capital projects to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitabilityResponsible for the operation and maintenance of all facilities.
Develops and implements maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, and quality and productivity improvement initiatives to improve services, efficiency, and effectiveness of Operations.
Deals with public concerning problems and complaints; and provides solutions and answers to questions, comments, and concerns; maintains good public relations.
Working with EH&S in support of a robust audit program to ensure compliance with national, state and local environmental regulations, and take appropriate corrective action when necessaryAnalyzes work progress records, efficiency of equipment and facilities, and drives continuous improvements.Interprets, applies, and ensures compliance with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures; initiates any actions necessary to correct deviations or violations.
