Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: 8-hour shift / Day shift **
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials and finished products between supply chain, warehouse, packaging and production departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records.Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.Supplies material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specificationsArranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules through BAAN.Computes amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.Coordinates delivery dates with material suppliers to optimize warehouse space and resources for receiving materials.Ensures inventory racks are clean, organized and working properly on a daily basis (Gravity flow racks in WH and packaging area).Works closely with the Production Scheduler/Raw Material Supervisor to ensure inventory on hand inventory is correct, proper inventory movements are made correctly and in a timely manner to support production needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two (2) years' experience in Inventory movement.High School/GED required. Some college is preferred.
