OverviewDeliver refined fuel and propane products to established customers by assigned routes while operating and maintaining truck in a safe manner.MFA Oil Company is an Equal Opportunity/Drug-Free Employer.

ResponsibilitiesDeliver refined fuel products and propane as assigned by the respective supervisorMaintain proper terminal access to load refined fuel and/or propane at terminal, if applicableComplete daily routes as generated by the manager, communicating any necessary routechanges and/or issues directly to the managerSafely operate vehicle according to MFA Oil Company policies and guidelines, state and federal transportation laws, and other related regulationsProperly use handheld systems to ensure accurate deliveriesAt the customer facility, safely access, pull, and connect fuel hoses to deliver fuel, then properly stow hoses for transportIdentify and timely communicate to management issues and feedback related to safety, efficiency, training needs and customer needs, questions, or concernsInspect customer installations to assure safe, dependable operations, reporting any issues to the managerConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any truck safety issues immediately to the operations managerPresent a positive image of MFA Oil Company to the community and be knowledgeable about all products and services offered by companySupport and understand company policies and procedures and be able to communicate those to customers as neededMaintain all required certificationsMaintain truck in a neat and clean conditionPerform service work (tank set, tank painting, plant maintenance) as directed by the managerFollow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours workedAll MFA Oil employees are expected to know and adhere to company and position specific policies and procedures. Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility and willingness to work with hazardous materialsAbility and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state(s) servedValid driver's licenseAbility and willingness to obtain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within the first 90 days of employment, and maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements per the vehicle requirementsAbility to pass in person training and MFA Oil Company Record of Road test requiring operation of both manual and automatic transmission vehicles within 90 days of employmentAbility to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles in a variety of weather and road conditionsAbility to move equipment and position self to move and retrieve products and supplies from shelves, under counters or stacks of inventory weighing up to 100 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or sitting) for up to nine hours per shiftAbility to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into trucksAbility to ascend and descend ladders in order to deliver fuelAbility to learn new concepts and use technical materialsVision, hearing, speech, and the ability to detect odorsAbility to exchange accurate information with MFA Oil Company customers in EnglishAbility to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, including handheld delivery tracking deviceAbility to consistently drive and work in outdoor weather conditionsAvailability to work a rotating on-call schedule, holidays, weekends, and after regular business as neededReliable transportation to workLegal authorization to work in the United States of America21 years of age or olderAbility to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), criminal background check, and MFA Oil Company road test
