Description Position at Bradley Court Generations Healthcare is in search of a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Bradley Court is a secure facility focusing primarily on post-hospitalization transitional care. Our patients suffer varying degrees of physical ailments, and many have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness. As such, our 56 beds are split evenly between behavioral health (secure) and skilled nursing (nonsecure) focuses. Located on beautiful grounds, Bradley Court includes two buildings, and residents are free to access the surrounding park-like grounds. We provide comprehensive psychiatric care in an effort to minimize an individual's risk of danger to self or others. Our approach is holistic in nature, addressing medical, emotional, psychological, and social needs. If you are passionate about therapy and helping residents meet their full potential, then this is the right place for you.Job Description:The primary role of the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is to assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists.Key Responsibilities:Implements and executes on established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a therapist.Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians and other members of the team.Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations.Communicates with patients, families and other clinical staff of treatment variations.Provides timely written documentation as required by insurance provider to meet licensing, certification regulatory, reimbursement requirements and physician treatment plan.Supports and participates in department operations and development.Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.Benefits:We offer a competitive salary, rewarding healthcare benefits and excellent career growth opportunities.Pay Range: $36.00 - $42.00 per hourQualifications:Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant curriculum.Is able to practice unencumbered.Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.Full knowledge of resident's rights.Exudes professionalism in presentation.Able to work on multitasks at the same timeGenerations Healthcare's Mission:Generations Healthcare was founded upon the belief that caring for the sick, the elderly, and the infirm is a special and sacred stewardship.
