We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of a Class A apartment complex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that common areas, amenities, and vacant units are clean, tidy, and inviting. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work independently in a high-end residential environment.
Pay: $ 17.00- $ 20.00/hr
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
401(k) – You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $ 0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

Key Responsibilities:
Common Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain all common areas of the apartment complex, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and community rooms. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Amenity Maintenance: Ensure that all amenities such as fitness centers, lounges, and pools are kept clean and ready for resident use. This includes wiping down equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.
Unit Preparation: Assist in the cleaning and preparation of vacant units for new residents, including deep cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms to meet the property’s high standards.
Restroom Cleaning: Regularly clean and restock restrooms in common areas, ensuring they are always clean, sanitary, and well-supplied.
Trash and Recycling: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from common areas, ensuring that waste is managed properly and areas remain clean and odor-free.
Window Cleaning: Clean interior windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces in common areas to ensure they are spotless and streak-free.
Floor Care: Perform routine floor care tasks, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors in common areas to maintain a pristine appearance.
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager promptly.
Supply Management: Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and available.
Resident Interaction: Provide friendly and professional service to residents, responding to their needs and inquiries in a courteous manner.
Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a residential or hotel environment. Experience in a Class A apartment complex is a plus.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
Communication: Basic communication skills; ability to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property.
Work Environment:
Location: On-site at a Class A apartment complex, with work primarily indoors but may include some outdoor tasks.
Hours: Full-time or part-time position with flexibility to work some weekends or evenings as needed.
