Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is constructing pallets according to specified. Physically stack and unstack pallets as required. Maintain a consistent flow of products to the shipping line.
Major responsibilities:
Build pallets according to storage specificationsEnsure quality assurance and vendor compliancePhysically stack and unstack palletsSupport the shipping line with constant flow of product or removalRead SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare it for loadingLift up to 30lbs consistentlyPerform other duties and tasks as assignedRequirements
EDUCATION
Some high school education requiredEXPERIENCE
Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, leadership employees).Basic reading (English) skillsPHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT
Able to perform repetitive tasks (walking, bending, twisting and use of hands, wrists, and arms)Perform general housekeeping (breakdown boxes, remove trash, sweep etcLight assemblyLimited lifting
