What We DoEstablish new vacation ownership escrow accounts and process transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures for large development projects in a high-volume production environment. Receive contracts from developers from a variety of sources, review contract documents and verify data accuracy. Coordinate recording transactions and perform escrow closings. Maintain and verify financial and inventory records. Create title insurance policies for each transaction and distribute according to service level agreement. May prepare tax documents.

What You'll Do:Coordinate escrow closing process, following workflow provided in client Service Level Agreements.Perform proficiently in a minimum of two projects from batch receipt through post-closing. Have familiarity with department's remaining projects for purposes of business continuity.Maintain client relationships to communicate approved document/data changes, updates, and various inquiries on each respective project.Review purchase agreements and perform quality reviews to manage/facilitate closing process.Facilitate title search, review, and verify title search results, and perform research to clear title and provide basic solutions for curative action.Communicate domestic and foreign notary requirements to clients. Audit documents and instruct on corrections.Navigate recording rejections and provide support to the client to correct balance files, ensure accurate accounting of all funds, disburse funds as per closing instructions including preparing and sending wires, reconcile escrow accounts, prepare, and distribute invoices for services.Maintain inventory records and process inventory releases according to client Service Level Agreements.Process cancellations and verify cleared funds with accounting.Perform and monitor day to day financial transactions utilizing various methods including banking and credit card merchant databases, financial and/or system reports and adjust as required for reconciliations.Review monthly and quarterly benchmark reports.Perform title policy premium calculation. Familiar with rate manuals and requirements as per state filed rates.Create and generate ancillary escrow documents for owner delivery, recordings.Produce title insurance policies from template specific to each project and distribute/deliver according to client Service Level Agreements. Assist with post-closing activities (packaging/mailing documents, title policy production, review policy against recorded documents)Regularly perform project audits/clean-up of escrow accounts and data entered in project files.Participate, test, and provide feedback on new system and process enhancements.Other duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring:

High School diploma or equivalentTypically requires 2+ years related experience.May require Escrow Officer certification or completion of Escrow Officer training program.May require Notary licensing.Proficient in Essential Functions of the Developer, Escrow and Title Assistant positionDetail / quality orientedProblem solving skills.Effective communication skills: verbal & written.Customer service orientationProficient MS Office skill set.Strong Excel skillsKnowledge of company operating systems (i.e. FAST, RITA)Title knowledge

Pay Range: $18.02 - $24.03 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
