11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Responsibilities:Gaging patients' psychiatric states.Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans.Administering psychotropic and similar medications.Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens.Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features.Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients.Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations.Conducting targeted psycho education, particularly within families.Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.BLS (AHA)Valid RN license required (where applicable)One to three years psychiatric or substance abuse experience as an RN in a hospital setting requiredMust possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processesAlso have knowledge of age-specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management and CPR training.Also certified in CPIFamiliarity with cultural perceptions about psychiatric difficulties.Well-honed triaging, diagnostic, and clinical judgment capacities.Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution.
