Stand-up Forklift/ Reach Truck Operator

The incumbent for the Material Handler positions safely operates a forklift to transport materials product throughout the warehouse. Performs operator maintenance on forklifts and complete operator checklist. Uses Bar Code Scanner to record material storage, use, and inventory Current 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday times are: 1st: 6am-2pm 2nd: 2pm-10p 3rd: 10pm-6am ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES The primary duties and responsibilities of the Blender consist of but are not limited to: Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift) in accordance with OSHA guidelines Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times Perform routine and assigned housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe work environment Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse Check-in inbound product and tag product accordingly Perform various receiving functions, such as unloading trucks and putting away product in the correct overstock location Inspect all power equipment and complete the safety inspection sheet before operation Follow all of the safety procedures Stack empty pallets; clean and sweep work area and remove trash regularly Responsible for safely loading and unloading trailers. Responsible for all paperwork, WMS labeling and scanning. Responsible for the inspection of incoming and outbound components. Responsible for the labeling of all items brought into the facility, as well as the scanning of all incoming materials, following the scanning procedures. _ _ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent Preferred - One or more years of Sit-down forklift experience Preferred Food industry experienced
