ResponsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, incumbent will manage Finance Department as well as assist in completion of daily financial tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:
May include but are not limited to:
Journal Entry and General Ledger preparation
Month end closing for four companies
Balance sheet account reconciliations
Accounts payable
Daily bank reconciliations
Intercompany receivable and payable reconciliation
Maintenance of the chart of accounts and the expense dictionary
Required to maintain functions in accordance with Finance policies and practices, GAAP, FASB and other internal control standards
Responsible for the maintenance of master controls files in Infinium Accounting system
Analyze, investigate and report data monthly, quarterly, and annually as required
Ensure employees are trained appropriately
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Accounting required, as well as three (3) to five (5) years of accounting and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
Gaming and/or hospitality experience preferred
Infinium/MMS System knowledge preferred or equivalent integrated Financial System knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Take Initiative to automate and optimize work flow where possible
Strong mathematical skills needed to effectively complete account analysis; will be working with fractions, percentages and ratios
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented
Ability to react quickly and efficiently to work volume
Strong knowledge of standard accounting principles
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports and cost analysis
Must possess ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
WORK ENVIRONMENT

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
