Software Development Manager, Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX)
Ever wondered how AWS (think of S3, EC2, DynamoDB, and more), the Amazon retail web site, Alexa, Prime Video, and hundreds of other services are available 24 hours a day, across the world, yet are continually evolving?
Apollo is the answer!
The Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) organization is looking for a talented SDM to join the Apollo team. Apollo is the set of services that enables most teams in Amazon to automate their software release process in a way that is fast, reliable, and predictable. Apollo is at the core how engineers work at Amazon. Every engineer will use it every day, and we’re growing Apollo’s internal customer base.
The Apollo team is transforming the way Amazon teams deploy software by using container technologies, new abstractions, and working with “native” AWS, beyond Apollo’s historical customer base. As a manager in the Apollo team you will drive the evolution of Amazon software abstractions, making creating and managing services easier for Amazon builders and allowing them to focus on their customers.
If you have what we’re looking for, come join a strong team in a highly-visible organization. You will have a significant impact on Amazon and help us to build the best continuous deployment and fleet management system in the world. Help us to write the next generation of systems that controls the software on millions of servers, for tens of thousands of applications, while delivering on the promise of elastic capacity at Amazon scale. We want to make it as easy as possible for application owners to create rapid change, and we need people who are excited to make managing applications in the cloud work for everyone.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
