Leidos is seeking an Enterprise Engineering Lead to support large-scale migration and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. The I3TS program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities to DTRA’s internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations. The Enterprise Engineering Lead shall serve as the key-person for Architecture, Engineering, Integration, and Advanced Capability Delivery and provide subject-matter expertise and technical oversight to of engineering-related activities throughout program.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform initial discovery efforts, defining data collection requirements based on inputs needed to develop a successful migration plan
Utilize advanced data analysis techniques and benchmarks to define the future state migration plan, and the pre-migration activities necessary to close gaps
Forecast backend infrastructure needs resulting from the migration into a single architecture
Design solutions, integrate, configure, test and deploy numerous types of storage and data protection technologies.
Optimize end-to-end system performance and migration workflows.
Conduct data captures to obtain computing performance and system configuration information.
Define migration plans that accelerate execution and minimize impact to the user community.
Establish migration plans for complex n-tier applications and services.
Gather needed data to forecast long-term capacity and performance requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience.
Proficiency with enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies such as: storage and backup arrays, SAN switches, backup software, and storage replication technology.
Experience providing enterprise-level IT engineering-related services within the scope of this program for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICs environments.
One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications related to performance of Architecture, Engineering, Integration, and Advanced Capability Delivery.
One or more engineering or technology-related technical certifications within the scope of this program.
Experience supporting DevSecOps-enabled delivery methodologies, technologies, platforms, and/or pipelines.
Experience with transition of IT systems and services to DoD enterprise or shared services, cloud environments and/or to hybrid operating environments.
Experience delivering executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior Government personnel.
Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
One or more cloud security (e.g., CompTIA, Cloud Security Alliance) or cloud-related technology certifications (e.g., MS Azure, Amazon Web Services)
Preferred Qualifications:
One or more DoDD 8140.01 certifications related to performance of Architecture, Engineering, Integration, and Advanced Capability Delivery.
