The Opportunity:CACI is seeking a DevOps Engineer (Mid-Senior) to join our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. As a team, we will be responsible to…Deliver simple solutions to complex problems as a Senior DevOps Engineer at CACITailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our clientsDesign and define the DecSecOps architecture for new or existing IT systemsHas the ability to both write clean, working code and has commanding knowledge of traditional operations tasksCoordinates system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testingManages and documents system configurationsAssists with deployment of new product features
Responsibilities:Configure CI/CD for multiple web applicationsTake source code, dependencies to perform application buildsPerform automated testing and security scansDeploy to multiple environments (Dev, Staging, Operations)Responsible for Infrastructure as Code and configuration managementAuthor helm charts to deploy resources to OpenShiftManage and document system security, by performing software updates in response to scan findings, document system, architecture to demonstrate security compliance.
Qualifications:
Required:5-8+ years of experienceBachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 3Additional years of experience in information technologyProficiency with Linux operating systemsExperience with GitWorking experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar)Ability to manage networking for web applications by understanding PCP/IP, DNS, and load balancingFamiliarity with Kubernetes and OpenShift, with ideal knowledge of AWS, GCP, and/or AzureExperience with Infrastructure as Code (one or more of Terraform, Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)Knowledgeable of including containerization, monitoring & logging, and network * securityExperience deploying and managing databases, interacting with databases via SQL and ORMsComfortable using Python and BASH to create systems toolingAbility to contribute code updates/tweaks to existing code repositoriesExperience with software system design, able to create application architecture for new applicationsExperience with integrating security components with applications and databasesTS/SCI Clearance with PolygraphU.S. Citizenship required; Location: on Customer site
Desired:Familiarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change process for review and assessmentExperience with delivery of an integrated solution using Agile software delivery techniquesTechnical certification Network+, Security+, Oracle, or specializing in Software Development, or Cloud ComputingExperience in System Engineering and project/program managementKnowledge and/or experience with NGA enterprise productsThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
