Lead Designer , you’ll collaborate with other UX designers, user researchers, UX engineers, and cross-functional teammates in Product, Engineering, and Architecture to solve some of Salesforce's biggest internal business and customer-facing challenges through cutting-edge, insight-based prototypes and designs. You'll be involved in all aspects of the project, from user research and prototyping to product definition and pitching to business executives along the way. Our engagements combine elements of strategic advisory, visioning, user research, ideation, storytelling, value proposition creation, workshop facilitation, rapid prototyping, end-user concept testing, and detailed UX design delivery.We're looking for someone who can create exceptional user-centered digital experiences and is passionate about teaching and inspiring others on the value of design — from experimenting with new technologies to articulating key design principles to synthesizing trends.About Business Technology

Responsibilities
Work closely with product owners, engineers, and user research to create an experience vision for a specific business domain, contribute to Agile delivery planning, and facilitate the user-centered design process.Communicate clear and compelling ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders, using presentations, reviews, and documentation.Generate detailed final design specs that inspire accurate developer builds.Serve as a bridge connecting design to product, engineering, architecture, and business teams.Oversee multiple web features, interfaces, and experiences.Work with developers and quality experts to deliver a polished final product.Plan, execute, and report on user research.Get feedback on designs via critique with peers.Create ethical and inclusive designs for all users. Encourage product and engineering management to prioritize inclusive features and bug fixes.Mentor junior design staff / manage contingent design resources.Basic Qualifications
8+ years of relevant work experience designing and delivering digital products and websites from start to finish as part of a cross-functional Agile teamDeep understanding of user-centered design and systems thinking. The ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve not just one feature but the entire user flow.Outstanding storytelling and prototyping skills to present your solutions to key partners and leadershipAbility to quickly bring ideas to life through a variety of means, from hand-drawn storyboards to functioning digital prototypesStrong communication and active listening skills, with an ability to build and develop close, trusting relationshipsProven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively across different projects and responsibilitiesInternal compass that points toward ethics and equality, and the conviction to speak up when we veer off courseExperience using analytics and user research to drive decisionsExperience using design systemsExperience developing software that is global in reach, universal in design, and designed for users of multiple languages and abilitiesExpert knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with an ability to quickly learn new tools as they emergeBA/BS or MA/MS in a design-related field, or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications
