Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in San Francisco, CA:Job Duties:Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.Master development process, culture and code base, then improve it.Operate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to craft and implement vital work to ensure quality in code.Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes.Present designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others.Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available.Minimum Requirements:Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in the related field.A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).Special Skill Requirements:Data structure, algorithms and software design;RESTful framework: Rest.li;Databases: MySQL and Oracle;Stream processing: Apache Kafka;Programming languages: Java, Python, and Scala;Automated testing: Unit test (Junit) and Integration tests;Apache Spark;Monitoring and Performance Optimization;Large scale microservices and database migration.Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.Salary:
