Applicants who cannot commute to the office should refrain from applying.Please note that we do not provide sponsorship for this position.Job SummaryThe Data Governance- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst is responsible for resolving operational issues related to daily EDI transactions to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. This generally consists of tasks maintaining data related to specific customers and providing detailed information to internal stakeholders such as the Sales Team to aid in issue resolution. The Analyst is responsible for monitoring and handling inbound/outbound documents, conducting auditing, handling relevant documents, and networking with partners. The Analyst works extensively with Data Governance, IT, Sales staff, and other employees to ensure the EDI program is working as intended. Daily activities include serving as the initial contact for troubleshooting inquiries, monitoring document transmissions, and identifying opportunities to improve relevant processes.Essential Job FunctionsReview failed EDI transactions and perform root cause analysis to develop and implement solutions.Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.Serve as the primary point of contact for all EDI-related requests, including, but not limited to, analysis and reporting.Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business processes and related transactions in various systems to support projects and progressive initiatives.Process and monitor all inbound and outbound documents.Develop and maintain user-facing and internal documentation on SharePoint.Perform other tasks as necessary.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Seldom exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Loud working environment of the shop area. Functional vision and hearing required.
