This position qualifies for sign-on bonuses and relocation reimbursement.FGS, LLC is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), at the Suitland Federal Center in Suitland, MD. Candidates must have an active Top Secret Security clearance with a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility determination, and at least 10 years of enterprise grade systems administration experience with Linux and Windows based Operating Systems. The position is in support of a unique mission software capability developed by ONI and provided to the Intelligence Community as a service. Personnel filling this role will be a member of a team of security professionals, developers, and systems administrators tasked with maintenance and further development of the capability.Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain operational status and IA posture of Production systemsMaintain operational status and IA posture of Development systemsProvide Tier 3 support to on-site engineersDevelop custom Linux and Windows scripts as necessary to improve functionalityProvide product architecture and configuration recommendationsDevelop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Develop and execute security test plans and pre-deployment test plansDocument and submit Weekly Activity Reports to the site leadResponsible for server baseline build and application deploymentInstallation and configuration of various Linux distributions, databases, and web serversCreate, deploy and manage virtual machines, templates, clones, and snapshots using virtualization softwareAttend ad-hoc and scheduled Integrated Product Team meetingsApply Windows and Linux patches, updates, and configuration changes as determined by ISSM/ISSOHarden servers, switches and routers according to the latest Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)Develop system design documents, requirements specifications, and drawingsRequired Qualifications:
Current DoD Cyber Security Workforce Certification of IAT Level II or betterHeavily experienced with Linux GUI, command line, Iptables, OCSP and CAC authenticationExperienced with management of VirtualServer hosts and imagesFamiliar with new DoD RMF Process and older DIACAP processFamiliar with configuration and operation of PKI for user and web authenticationDesired Qualifications:
Experienced in the Intelligence Community or Military environment preferredDegree in related field, current Cisco, Linux and/or Windows certifications preferredPhysical Requirements:
