PL/SQL Developer

Infosys is seeking a PL/SQL Developer. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge, and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
Extensive PL/SQL experience with performance tuning and optimization.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the creation of Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions, PL/SQL, Indexes, Cursors, Performance Tuning, and SQL Profiler, including writing complex queries.
Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c & 19c, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) using SQL 2008/2005.
Worked extensively on AWS for optimizing resources, AWS Lambda functions, CloudWatch, designing rules for load balancer, creating AMI, etc.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts including Inheritance, Abstraction, Encapsulation, and Polymorphism; good experience in Exception Handling, Debugging, and Tracing concepts.
Experienced in implementing WCF services and consuming them using different protocols, implementing features like Debugging, Performance, and Security, and creating Service, Data, Fault, and Message Contracts.
Created interactive applications using Web RTC framework with signaling server as NodeJS/Express server using Socket.IO.
Worked extensively with the Production Support Team 24x7 in debugging issues and fixing them based on priority levels.
Excellent analytical skills with a customer service-oriented attitude and experience working with the offshore team as an onsite coordinator to provide daily updates.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
