Firebird AST is seeking an onsite and TS/SCI with CI Poly cleared Offensive Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a U.S. Government client. This is for a pending contract. Contract award is anticipated early 2025.RESPONSIBILITIESUtilize in-depth knowledge and ability to design, develop, integrate, assess, document, coordinate, and manage projects to achieve cyber systems requirements and capabilities across their lifecycle.Prepare and review engineering and programmatic documents, such as: Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Information Support Plan, Program Protection Plan, Materiel Release Package, and Cybersecurity Strategy.Participate in technical reviews based on the adaptive acquisition framework pathway, including events leading to the review, and events after the review, such as: Product Increment Planning, Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Production Readiness Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and Physical Configuration Audit.Participate in weekly/bi-weekly integrated product teams, sprint reviews, and working groups by offering subject matter expertise.Review all systems engineering documentation in preparation for Milestone Decision Reviews.REQUIREDActive TS/SCI clearance CI PolySpecialized training and bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degreeAn in-depth understanding of cyber threatsAbility to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workersExperience using cyber toolsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTESAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc.Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s).Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission.Ability to identify and solve problems.Excellent organization and time management skills.EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in CybersecurityCLEARANCEActive DoD Top Secret with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
