System AdministratorThe System Administrator is responsible for managing both cloud and on-premise infrastructure in Sandhills Global datacenters. This includes configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring of Windows/UNIX servers and enterprise storage systems. This is a position in a highly collaborative environment working with other skilled professionals to continuously improve datacenter infrastructure, redundancy, and security. Starting pay $81,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities
Install, test, and maintain server/storage hardware and operating system softwareInstall and test upgrades and software patchesMaintain and support VM environmentsDesign and implement backup and recovery policiesImplements redundant and fault tolerant systems and assumes responsibility for maintaining and carrying out disaster recovery plansResearch and implement new technologies/strategiesCreate and maintain internal processes/documentation
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities PreferredBA in Information Systems or IT Systems Management or 2+ years equivalent experienceExperience in Windows Server, Azure/O365, VMware, Active Directory, and PowerShell a plusAble to be on-call rotation and perform off-hours maintenanceAbility to travel, valid driver’s license required
