The successful candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with high attention to detail and must be capable of understanding and accurately extrapolating technical data and information to solve problems and create technically accurate communications. office.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThe successful candidate will:Support projects involving Hydrology & Hydraulic studies and design documents.Perform Hydrology & Hydraulic analyses, design calculations, and Design Drawings by functionally employing the appropriate technical software including HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and CAD, among others.Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary project teams and nationwide company offices and client/project locations.Conduct routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis using approved procedures appropriate for their discipline.Assist in identifying technical issues and approaches for evaluation.Become familiar with local, state, and federal regulations.Draft technical sections of project communications, work plans, and reports.Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.Comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Charter.SKILLS/EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in civil engineering.4+ years of relevant engineering experience.Ability to obtain EIT or PE license within 2 years of hire date preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to technical details.Experience with industry standard groundwater modeling software is a plus, such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and CAD, C3D, among others.Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be willing to travel as needed to support clients, projects, and project team collaboration.About Haley & AldrichHaley & Aldrich is committed to delivering the value our clients need from their capital, operations, and environmental projects. is $85,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to ensure we are competitive in the current market.
