This is a remote position.About the role:We are looking for an applied data analytics and machine learning engineer who is passionate about catching fraud. We build products that help our customers catch fraud in real time and keep their customers' money safe. This requires careful thought, high creativity, and a deep understanding of data analytics and ML at scale.What you will be doing:
Identify ML techniques into Unit 21 productsTake ownership of the development lifecycle of features and modelingDesign data acquisition strategies across customers with different schemasSolve various ML and programming puzzlesGain insights and features from manipulating large data setsAutomate model training and inference in real time across many models and customersBuild out ML models from raw data to fully featured productsIdentify differences in data distribution that could potentially affect model performance in real-world applicationsRun machine learning experiments, identify key features, interpret model results, and document findingsWhat we're looking for:
BS, MS or Ph.D in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field is required5+ years of experience in developing machine learning systems/applications2+ years of experience in feature engineering on financial fraud detectionExperience working with Apache Spark and Data BricksFluency in the Python (non-Jupyter) machine learning life cycle designing, developing, deploying and maintaining models in productionStrong SQL skills. Strong analytical, feature engineering and data modeling skills. Advanced understanding of data pipelines and ETL processesA strong grasp of traditional machine learning algorithms, both unsupervised and supervisedExperience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlowAbility to manage several projects simultaneously, including scoping technical tasks and effectively communicating progress toward milestonesAdvanced knowledge of software engineering principles including software design, source control management, build processes, automated deployments, code reviews, testing methodsExperience working with AWSBonus Points!
Experience working with optimization/performance enhancement in DatabricksCompensation:
The standard base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $230,000 Annually. This base pay range does not include variable compensation including potential commissions, bonuses or other financial or equity incentives.What we can offer you:
