Full-timePosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled

C#/.NET Software Engineer

to design and develop desktop applications for both Windows and Linux platforms. This role involves creating high-performance, user-friendly applications with seamless database integration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in C# and .NET development, cross-platform application design, and expertise in database management.Key Responsibilities:Implement new functionalities on existing and new software applications.Develop and implement C#/.NET applications using WinForms and WCF.Architect and build complex client-server applications.Develop and maintain WCF services for effective communication between applications.Oversee and optimize database design, including schema creation, query optimization, and stored procedure development.Develop applications that can be adapted or deployed across different platforms including Windows and Linux.Diagnose and resolve application issues, optimizing performance, security, and usability.Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, recommend improvements to existing systems.Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following industry standards and best practices.Work closely with design team and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.2-5 years of direct experience in C#/.NET development.Proficiency in developing desktop applications using WinForms.Advanced proficiency in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) for developing and managing web services.Experience with database design and management, including SQL Server or other relational databases.Proven ability to design efficient schemas, optimize SQL queries, and manage stored procedures.Knowledge of cross platform development tools, including experience with Linux environments.Excellent problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with video technologies.MVC Framework experience a plus.Experience in .NET Core is preferred.Highly self-motivated with a keen ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and maintain a positive attitude.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.Benefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive medical, dental, vision and life insuranceExceptional 401K BenefitsPaid holiday and vacation planGreat team in a highly technical environmentClickIt Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
