SOFtact Solutions (STS) is seeking a Senior Capability Manager to manage day-to-day operations of the capability, program management, and IT support to our customers at NETCOM. NETCOM is the premier communications organization and information services provider to all Department of Defense information networks (DODIN)-Army customers worldwide, ensuring all commanders have decision advantage in support of mission command within the multi-domain environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or 8+ years equivalent experience in related fieldQualifications:
DoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAM Level I and ITIL Foundation CertificationResponsibilities:Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasksProvides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor managementParticipates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reportingDocuments gap analysis, staging, installation, testing within the established schedule, operational and costing parameters in support of the assigned capabilityConducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workloadAssists the Government in synchronizing requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project within cost, schedule and performance identifying any issues in project meetingsAttends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaisonInteracts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the clientCoordinates development of deliverables and productsEnsures quality assurance of project deliverablesManages the day-to-day operationsAssists in validating spend plans and quantifying equipment and associated costsCoordinates, executes, and tracks shipmentsCreates documentation, briefings, and project plans necessary to support NETCOMResponsible for the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customerProvides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are receivedMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedParticipates in special projects as requiredOther duties as assignedPeriodic TravelRequired Skills:Project Management experienceDoD 8570.1-M Certification: IAM Level IITIL Foundation CertificationIn-depth understanding of the task order requirements, their responsibilities, and the ability, knowledge, experience, and skills to carry-out those requirements and responsibilitiesCurrent understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructsDoD and Army Cybersecurity Policy, including DoD Instruction 8500.01, Cybersecurity, Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Information Assurance and AR 25-1 Army Information TechnologyChange managementExcellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral, and written communication skillsMicrosoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft VisioClearance:
