You will work with clients and project managers to ensure all considerations are integrated into the design. You will use your CAD skills to create detailed construction documents and oversee the build process to make sure the clients’ quality and cost expectations are met. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working on residential construction projects. Exceptional communication, project management, and drawing skills are a must. Furnish design proposals and construction documents containing technical drawings and specifications sufficient for construction and cost estimatingLead and manage architectural projects from concept to completionCollaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectivesEnsure compliance with building codes and regulationsMentor and guide junior architects and internsConduct site visits and inspections to coordinate with contractors, serve as liaison between the office and building department officialsCoordinate consultant drawings (structural engineer, civil engineer, landscape architect, etc.) with architectural design and technical drawingsCan be relied upon to present directly to the client technical and design solutionsWorks closely with the Project Manager to execute project plansCoordinate with the Project Manager to directly supervise the teams' design and technical deliveryCollaborate throughout the project with project managers and clients to ensure the end product meets the client’s quality and budget expectationsDesign drawings and renderings and revise designs based on feedbackCommunicate design intent specifications clearly and ensure quality control through site visits with construction professionalsQualifications
Certification as a registered architect in the state of Missouri requiredProfessional degree in Architecture plus ten years minimum of related experienceExcellent project management skills, as well as strong problem-solving, technical, and communication skillsStrong portfolio of complex residential projectsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyRequired software proficiency: AutoDesk, Autocad, Trimple Sketchup, Revu Bluebeam, Microsoft Office SuitePreferred software proficiency: AutoDesk, Revit, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe IllustratorCompensation
