Then you might be just what we are looking for.The Data Steward is responsible for representing Idea to Retire (I2R) at the functional level and executing data policies, rules, and standards. 100% dedicated to data governance and master data management (MDM) capabilities and reporting into Global Product Operations (GPO), the Data Steward drives master data issue escalation and remediation across the organization. Supports the functional Data Owner in data policy execution. Responsible for data quality and availability of specific data assets, within their systems of record and processes. Partners with centrally coordinated Enterprise Data Domain Leader to holistically manage data assets. Will drive the data maturity roadmap within their function.What You’ll Do

Create and implement master data management (MDM) and data governance (DG) change management strategies and plans for GPG, aligned with Lam's vision.Provide leadership at the functional level.Identify the business unit MDM strategy.Educate the business users on standard DG processes.Drive the identification and documentation of data assets (e.g., critical data elements (CDE), data quality rules, glossary terms, data policies, etc.) and facilitate creation within the DG tool.Drive the data cleansing process, monitor data quality, compliance and ensure timely remediation.Responsible for the Master Data maturity and continuous improvement in their function by reducing data redundancy, identifying automation and error proofing opportunities.Responsible for reviewing requests for Master Data maintenance using DG and MDM tools.Interact with Data Owner to ensure that business requirements impacting DG and Data Quality are satisfied.Identify Master Data related issues and escalate to respective stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with product development processes, functional groups, and impacted business units.“Run-the-business” knowledge to understand what the data is, where the data is generated and in what development phase, and why the data is important.Experience working in complex product development environments with technical teams, such as engineering and advanced research and development.Experience in or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or related industries is a plus.Experience in organizational change management methodologies is a plus.Our Commitment
