Senior iOS EngineerPosition Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior iOS Developer with strong expertise in 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) development. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mobile development and will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality user interfaces for our iOS applications. This role requires an individual who can handle 3D-heavy applications, including the loading and optimization of 3D models, AR development, with performance as a top priority.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications with a focus on 3D and AR technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and robustness.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the smooth operation of applications.Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in iOS development and at least 2 years with AR and 3D development.Candidates must be located within a ±3-hour time zone difference for optimal collaboration with our team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong proficiency in using ARkit and SwiftUI.Strong math knowledge, particularly in trigonometry.Extensive experience with 3D graphics and AR technologies.Familiarity with iOS build tools such as Xcode.Experience with CI/CD tools specific to iOS (e.g., Jenkins, Bitrise, CodeMagic, GitHub Actions).Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.Familiarity with Offline Mode and how that works and can implement the same for our app.Experience with OpenGL ES, Metal, and other graphics APIs.Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Strong knowledge of GitHub multi-branching and trunk-based development strategies.Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.Knowledge of real-time communication technologies such as gRPC and WebSockets.Strong understanding of how the internet works, including rendering processes.Proficiency in writing unit tests.Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.Knowledge of machine learning and computer vision.
