Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Engineer to fill an open position with one of our grocer clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and build innovative data solutions that drive value from data, ensuring security and scalability. The role involves designing, building, and supporting platforms and tools for managing large-scale data processes, working with both on-premise and cloud-based systems.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and support data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes.Collaborate with IT application teams, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, information security, and LOB stakeholders.Act as a technical expert in system and application design, performance, integration, and security.Conduct research and development on current trends and technologies in banking, data engineering, and architecture.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills, suitable for various audiences.Fundamental understanding of distributed computing principles.Knowledge of application and data security concepts, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.Conceptual understanding of big data technologies, metadata management, ETL tools, BI and reporting tools, messaging systems, data warehousing, SQL, Java, version control systems, CI/CD tools, infrastructure automation, virtualization tools, data testing, major cloud platforms, or REST API design and development.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.Willingness to provide escalated on-call support for critical incidents.
