Job Summary:As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and improving the overall efficiency of our development processes. You will work closely with our development teams to develop and implement automated solutions, tools, and processes that meet our security, compliance, and scalability requirements.Responsibilities:Monitoring, Alerting, and Performance Tracking
Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues in real-time.Enhance Datadog implementation for better product visibility, setting proactive alerts for improved monitoring.CI/CD, Release, and Automation
Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.Create GitLab standard templates to accelerate development and ensure compliance with security requirements.Develop and implement unit testing frameworks for GitLab pipelines, tracking vulnerabilities, regression, and other issues.Manage software release processes, preparing Merge Requests (MRs), release notes, and ensuring proper deployment approvals.Create base case testing for quality assurance during development and production releases.Infrastructure and Cloud Management
Be responsible for AWS infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code - Terraform), supporting both existing and new needs. Manage and help improve services such as ECS Fargate, API Gateway, Load Balancers (Network & Application), and RDS Aurora Postgres.Create and maintain robust architectures that enhance product functionality.Create golden images and standards for Docker containers to ensure consistency and security.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with development teams to integrate their applications with AWS services and design a robust and efficient architecture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development cycles, security, and scalability.Help develop Software Development Kits (SDKs) for APIs to simplify service integration.Requirements:3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.Experience with AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.Experience with API Gateway Services (AWS, Tyk, Kong, or others).Experience with Datadog, including instrumentation and monitoring.Experience with Docker, including containerization and orchestration.Experience with GitLab, including CI/CD pipelines and version control.Experience with Terraform, including infrastructure as code and automation.Experience with Change Management, including planning, execution, and review.Strong understanding of security, compliance, and scalability principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have:Experience with Databricks, including data processing and analytics.Experience with container security and compliance.
