HybridNightwing is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. This role is crucial for supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission-critical development and sustainment program.Responsibilities:
Develop security systems for manual or automated systems environments, including on-prem and Cloud-based systems.Collaborate with vendors in designing, evaluating, and architecting secure GOTS/COTS applications, operating systems, networks, databases, and custom-built technology.Protect organization data against unauthorized disclosure, loss, and modification.Required Skills:
U.S. CitizenshipActive Secret clearance; must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance (preferred).Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.6+ years of software development experience.4+ years of hands-on experience with Java development and related technologies.2+ years of experience with Agile software development.Experience with SecureSphere Imperva Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM).Experience securing network traffic via AWS API Gateway and AWS Application Load Balancers.Familiarity with IDS/IPS, RSA Security Analytics, Splunk, PKI, and certificates.Desired Skills:
5+ years of Cloud DevOps Administrative or Engineering experience.3+ years of Network Security Identity Management tools engineering experience.Desired Certification(s):
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, Security+, Network+, etc.Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems.
