Land Acquisition Project Manager
. The right candidate will m anage a site from pre-acquisition up to the construction of homes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Ensure that property documents comply with company standards and notify management of concerns and potential solutionsEnsure that all due diligence work is completed prior to expiration of contingency period and the Land Acquisition Proforma (LAP) submittal dateCreate, review and maintains all due diligence property documents and reportsCoordinate information sharing and work distribution with the Land Development, Acquisitions, Construction, Sales, and Marketing DepartmentsProvide site inspections to identify project status, progress and risk managementMaintain budgets and development schedule oversight and updatingCoordinate and communicate with the primary engineer and other primary consultantsMaintain community opening schedules and projections based on acquisition and development statusPlan, direct, and manage the activates of the Entitlements staff and Land staffCoordinate with consultants to municipal staffReview development agreementsReview Impact fee audits agreements, school agreements, etc.Zone and plat projectsAbility to travel overnightSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises 2 or more employeesQualifications
Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityThree to five years of related experience and/or trainingAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsPreferred QualificationsAbility to multi-task and attention to detailCome join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
