GENERAL SUMMARYThe Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) is a non-profit medical professional society dedicated to improving cancer patient outcomes by advancing the science and application of cancer immunotherapy. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager and working closely with the society’s Education Department, the Program Manager aids in the successful implementation of educational programs for internal stakeholders. Primary areas of responsibility include program planning support and implementation, faculty management, and managing program development.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
(Minimum 37.5 hours/week)Develop appropriate educational program proposals with the Senior Program Manager.Interface with SITC education and/or organizing committees to develop and implement programs.Maintain and abide by overall policies, procedures, and timelines for educational programs.Coordinate, implement, and document internal and external conference calls.Manage faculty selection, correspondence, tracking, compliance, and documentation for conflict of interest identification and resolution.Manage the implementation of necessary technologies associated with project management of programs.Interface with the Meetings Department for logistical and registration needs.Manage the development and distribution of necessary meeting materials.Manage the implementation of educational activity evaluations and assist in the collection and reporting of educational outcomes data.Serve as a resource for program organizers, faculty, and external inquiries.Manage enduring educational products from live events, including session recordings and posted slides.Work with the Senior Program Manager and the Communications Department to implement effective marketing strategies for program promotion.Assist in securing funding for programs, including providing required program information and data.Maintain compliance with funder LOAs and accreditation guidelines.Assist in the maintenance of program-specific budgets.Attend in-person programs to manage onsite activities as needed.Attend and facilitate virtual programs as needed.Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Proficient in MS Office (Word processing and spreadsheets).Professional demeanor and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with databases for tracking and reporting, web-meeting services, and learning management systems is a plus.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.2-5 years of experience required; previous association and meeting management experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Travel of up to 3 weeks per year.Some evening and weekend work as needed.Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.*This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI, with a minimum of two days onsite in the office required (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day).#J-18808-Ljbffr
