Bell Lumber and Pole Company requires a Cloud Data Engineer to enhance business processes and deliver data solutions by leveraging cloud data services. The role involves analyzing data workflows, identifying improvement areas, and leading advanced data solution implementations. The engineer will also develop custom business applications integrating with ERP systems.In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement cloud data solutions including pipelines, lakes, and warehouses using Azure, AWS, and Google CloudDevelop and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud FunctionsIntegrate data solutions and custom applications with ERP systemsAnalyze data workflows and processes to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsMaintain data security and compliance standardsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud data services and custom applicationsConduct training sessions and workshops for cloud platform toolsKeep accurate records of support activities in a ticketing systemDocument cloud data solutions and custom application implementationsStay updated with the latest cloud platform features and best practicesThis role comes with the following benefits:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience in cloud data solution design, development, and implementationExperience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google CloudUnderstanding of cloud data services like Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and SQL databasesExperience with custom application development using tools like Power Apps, AWS Lambda, Google Cloud FunctionsProblem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with ticketing systems such as Atlassian/JIRA and remote support tools like TeamViewerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganizational and time management skillsYou would benefit from having:
