The Software Developer II will take an active role in the design and development of Secure Issuance software. The solutions are built using .NET/Java and modern Web technology stack that employs the latest in industry required security standards. The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.Responsibilities:

Design, test, deploy, debug, implement .NET/Java software application and servicesEffectively apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standardsKnowledgeable about secure development life-cycle, threat modeling, and web application security assessmentsParticipate in requirements definition, documentation and code reviewsContribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent effortAssist in production escalation and problem resolutionReview and unit test code from others on teamDevelop and maintain automation and CI/CD environmentsFunction independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision.Exhibit a process-oriented mind setConfidently interact and share skills with team membersIdentify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver resultsBasic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree3 + years relevant software development experience creating business applications3 + years C# or .NET or Java/J2EE (Java 6) experienceExperience with any of Visual Studio, VS Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse IDE, Jira, or Azure DevOps (or TFS)Experience with Object Oriented analysis and designExperience with SaaS development and deploymentExperience developing custom web pages with HTML, CSS and JavaScriptExperience with RESTful API development and integrationUnderstands the concepts of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patternsMust be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for USPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with .NET Core or Spring (Boot)Experience with DevOps scripting and deploymentsExperience with AngularJS framework and JQueryExperience with relational databases, and noSQLExperience with mocking frameworksExperience with data analytics, statistical analysis, data modelingExperience developing multi-tenant cloud-based software productExperience developing web servicesExperience developing smart cardsAbout Entrust:
