You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of systems and software throughout our development process. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new software products throughout the product lifecycle.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.
Must-haves:Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of Computer Aided Engineering toolsPractical knowledge of engineering principles and practicesExperience working in multi-disciplinary teamsExperience developing software for Linux systemsExperience with containers and containerized software (e.g., Docker)Experience developing software for embedded platformsExposure to model-based engineering and MBSE tools
Preferred:Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and BashExperience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated buildKnowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and SpiralExperienced with data structuresExperience working with the Data Distribution Service (DDS)Proficient with C/C++ Build Systems (e.g., CMake)Experience with cross-compilation toolsExperience developing software for systems with real-time requirements.Experience with Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms and systemsExperience with interface definition languages (IDLs)Experience with MIL-STD-1760 busses and miniature store interfacesExperience working with Government Reference Architectures (GRAs) and standards

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
