Orlando, FloridaThe RoleCommand Post Technologies, Inc. (“CPT”) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to work with the engineering team supporting systems and network engineering operations for the Department of Defense (DoD) National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) Range Modernization Task Order (NCRC-RM). This facility supports the modernization of Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) delivery of realistic cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and enabling realistic cyber operations training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force.Focuses on software quality and proactively advocates for the development of secure and reliable software.Applies DevSecOps tools and concepts to deliver high quality, secure software at an aggressive tempo consistent with NCRC Enterprise requirements.Applies software engineering methodologies and software development technologies across the system lifecycle.Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on DevSecOps system design, implementation, integration, deployment, and sustainment.Continuously looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of software development and deployment processes.Supports troubleshooting and change management processes within the Future and Current Operations Teams.Supports the Tier 3 Helpdesk technical requirements and develops NCRC Enterprise solutions to pervasive problems.RequirementsHere is What You'll Need:Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI clearance eligibilityIAT Level II Security Certification (Security + CE or GSEC or SSCP or CCNA-Security)Bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, or a focus in computer and information sciences, engineering, mathematics, management information systems, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant computer science topics.3+ years of experience in cyber security or information security.5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience5+ years of networking experience (Cisco)Expert knowledge of software development methodologies, including agile development.Expert knowledge of automated systems in relation to CI/CD pipelines.Working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.Basic knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.Intermediate knowledge of Python and C/C++ development.Basic knowledge of PowerShell and Bash scripting.Demonstrated ability to work within and lead teams.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Basic knowledge of automated infrastructure configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and ChefDesired Qualifications10+ years of related, proven experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems comprising dozens of software configuration items.Basic knowledge of programming language theory, operating systems, networking, and enterprise IT concepts, architectures, and systems (compute, network, storage).Basic knowledge of software-defined networking and network function virtualization (NFV).Expert knowledge of automated infrastructure configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
