Full Time/ Non-ExemptPurposeThe IT Support Specialist is our go-to person for advanced client projects and implementations. Installing workflow applications and providing advanced support for our clients are a regular part of the IT Support Specialist’s day.The IT Support Specialist is responsible for onsite and remote installation and support needs for our document management clients. This relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software. This is an advanced technical position, focused on workflow software and advanced document management solutions.ResponsibilitiesHelp architect, implement, and support MFP software applicationsSupport and understand Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, SharePoint, Office365, Group PolicyProvide technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and securityCommunicate with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outagesDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsProvide MS Windows OS / Mac OS experience and supportSet up print drivers and follow best practicesImplement and support remote access solutions: VPN, Terminal Services, or CitrixJob Related DimensionsInterpersonal skills including telephone skills, communication skills, active listening, and client-careDiagnostic skills for technical issuesAbility to plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentTake ownership of job responsibilities with personal pride and accountabilityAbility to work independently with little supervision requiredStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to take constructive feedback from management or peersWillingness to learn new processes/practices, apply them, and train othersImpeccable integrity and honestyQualificationsAssociates Degree or Bachelor's Degree3-5 years in the IT field or work-related experienceA valid driver’s license and good driving recordStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsMust be a self-starter and capable of working independentlyAbility to handle high-stress situations and thrive under pressureImpeccable integrity and honestyPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to sit at a desk for prolonged periodsAbility to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applicationsAbility to type and compose written communication in various formsUBEO offers a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet your personal needs and priorities.
