Strong experience working with SAS data sets and proven experience in transitioning data to a relational database. Converting SAS to PostgreSQL is preferredStrong experience in PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL programming within enterprise environment managing large databases including performance tuningStrong experience working with database cloud (AWS) or Azure administration (i.e., Postgres, MS SQL, Oracle)Experience with DBA activities such as patching, backup/recovery, maintenance, troubleshooting and database monitoringExperience with migration to the cloud and with automation and infrastructure as code (CloudWatch/Terraform)Demonstrate AWS GovCloud, RDS and Database tools proficiency. The SAS Database Administrator is responsible for integration and implementation of the public cloud infrastructure that will support Census Systems Enterprise Database shared services.
