Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AEGIS Weapon System Aegis Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will be part of a talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get sea-based missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer who are each contributing to the development and fielding of capabilities in the field of hypersonic missile defense.What You'll Be Doing:
Direct support to an MDA program office (ABR) in the integration of the Aegis Weapons.Direct support to an MDA program office (ABR) for the development of a future weapon system.Streamline the integration process to support schedule, cost, risk reduction.Under the purview of MDA, provide support for requirement verification through onsite test observation and inspection.Provide Data management and Configuration Management.Provide technical support by reviewing changes and participating in Working Groups as needed.Provide integration and validation support of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.Program management support for program lifecycle cost, program planning, schedule, and risk management.Support all elements of the Systems Engineering V.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
US Citizenship with Active Secret ClearanceMaster’s Degree STEM12+ years of experienceWorks Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasksAbility to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problemsExperience with Aegis Weapon SystemsOperational Aegis BMD experienceWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI ClearanceMaster’s Degree in Systems EngineeringExperience with Missile Systems EngineeringTechnical experience in the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, material readiness, tactical analysis, etc.Qualified U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) with Command-At-Sea experienceMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
