As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing user interfaces that enhance the experience related to the patient and drug domains. You will work closely with backend and design teams to create responsive, scalable, and maintainable frontend applications using modern frameworks like Angular and React. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in frontend development, system design, and a deep understanding of user-centric design principles.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of user interfaces using Angular, React, and other modern frontend technologies.Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to build intuitive, responsive, and accessible web applications.Develop scalable frontend components with a focus on reusability, performance, and maintainability.Integrate REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints into frontend applications, ensuring efficient data retrieval and seamless user experiences.Drive the adoption of modern frontend best practices, including component-driven development, state management, and modular architecture.Optimize application performance through code reviews, profiling, and continuous refactoring.Implement comprehensive testing strategies using frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Cypress to ensure high-quality, bug-free software.Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and champion best practices in frontend development and testing.Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications, automating the build, testing and deployment process.Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, and proactively propose new approaches to improve our technology stack.Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in frontend software engineering with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular and React.5+ years of experience building and maintaining scalable, responsive user interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.4+ years of experience working with state management libraries like Redux, NgRx, or similar, ensuring efficient data flow and application state handling.3+ years of experience integrating REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints into frontend applications, with an understanding of asynchronous programming and error handling.3+ years of experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Cypress, ensuring robust unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of frontend components.2+ years of experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automating build, testing, and deployment processes for frontend applications.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility to ensure high-quality user experience.Experience with modern frontend architecture patterns, such as micro-frontends, component-driven-development, and modular design.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset for debugging and optimizing frontend performance.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional, agile teams.EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
