Minimum Qualifications4+ years of database design and administration experience.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology.4+ years of experience with SQL Server 2008 thru 2016.4+ years of experience with SQL Server technologies (clustering, Always On, partitioning, security, performance tuning, memory management, SQL tuning, statistics gathering, application audit logs, scheduling, etc.).2+ years of experience in utilizing performance tuning tools like explain plans, index management, or similar technologies. Understand and interpret the reports generated from tools and resolve performance issues.4+ years of experience in backup and recovery, application patching, cloning, maintenance and problem solving within the SQL Server environment.4+ years of experience in leading and supporting upgrade activities within the SQL Server 2005 or greater environment.4+ years of experience with Med (500GB) to Large (5 TB) sized databases.4+ years of operating under a highly structured change management protocols and processes.Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace data related issues throughout the architecture.Must be strong in analyzing how SQL Server resources are being used during SQL executions.Ability to write and maintain high quality documentation.2+ years of experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM.2+ years of experience with transactional, merge, and snapshot replication technologies.1+ years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).Familiarity and experience operating in an enterprise environment using formal procedures and policies required for escalation and outage resolution.Additional Information
