Industrial Engineering and Programming SpecialistLocation:
1000 Robinson Avenue, St. Cloud, FL 34769Job Description:Focus on specialties in ergonomics, product costing, programming production dashboards and present data for operational monitoring and decision making.
Perform process definition for new products and perform process improvement for current products, in addition to time study, labor and cost standard development, process flow and production floor layout.
Create programs and dashboard displays using Ignition software to improve production processes and provide visibility of production status for shop floor, supervision and management.
Create Power BI reports.
Perform ergonomic evaluations (EJMS) including use of HumanTech software and implement improvements to reduce ergonomic risks.
Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify and mitigate safety risks.
Identify process requirements for manufacturing specialized electronic assemblies and magnetic coils for use in marine applications.
Participate in New Product Development process to ensure that product designs incorporate DFM & DFA principles.
Analyze existing operations and facilitate process improvements using time studies, line balancing, and other tools.
Develop assembly equipment and production cells including process maps, value stream mapping, and work instruction development.
Develop cost estimates for new internal and external products.
Conduct time studies and develop and maintain labor standards and costs for new and current products.
Create and maintain plant floor manufacturing area layout drawings.
Train operators on new processes and procedures.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or related.Experience Requirement:
4 years of experience as industrial engineer, manufacturing engineer or related.Special Skills:
Must have work experience with each of the following: (1) perform ergonomic evaluations (EJMS) including use of HumanTech software and implement improvements to reduce ergonomic risks within marine; (2) perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to identify and mitigate safety risk within marine; (3) develop cost estimates using machine-based and labor-based overhead burden; and (4) identify process requirements for manufacturing specialized electronic assemblies and magnetic coils for use in marine applications.Salary:
