We strive to bring technical expertise and business knowledge together to support a wide range of business products. The Stream Aligned Team is focused on supporting the Americas Wholesale Banking business, such as Financial Markets, Lending & Capital Markets, maintaining systems in collaboration with global teams, and building and maintaining local applications as applicable. The DevOps Engineers work with the infrastructure, technology operations and other cross-functional teams to support US businesses.Responsibilities :Even if you’ll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office’s garden, your day will be quite similar when it comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain Data Workflows, ELT processes, and pipelines on a variety of platformsDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code on bespoke business applicationsImplement and work with the latest tooling with a strong focus on performance, stability, and securityDocument specs and implementations of deliverablesCollaborate with Business, Local and Global DevOps teams plus associated technical disciplinesPerform data improvement by (re)configuring new and existing products, reports and processes in generalYou understand the entire stack’s technology on which the application runs and how it fits in the overall chainBuild, enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error-prone tasks, using the correct Event AlertsPerform Functional testing and Change Management activities in order to ensure the safe deliveries from Test, to Acceptance and to Production environmentOccasional travel abroad (Amsterdam / Brussels)Qualifications and CompetenciesTech stack/ knowledge:Oracle DBOracle SQL languageC#C++PythonWorking knowledge of CI/CDExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience in Agile way-of-workingKnowledge of Sophis (Finastra) a plusKnowledge of business/products (Equities, Equity Derivatives)A customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents to structurally improve the customer experienceComfortable Excel userExperience with tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure DevOps is a plusFamiliarity with IT Service Management / ITIL processes is a plusScripting knowledge (Powershell, Python, bash) is a strong plusA good team player, cross-functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environmentProactive and attentive to others’ needsSalary Range $110,000 -$140,000In addition to comprehensive health benefits, a generous 401k savings plan, and competitive PTO, ING provides a broad array of benefits including adoption, surrogacy, and fertility services; student debt assistance; and subsidies for expenses associated with working from home, commuting, and fitness.ING is a committed equal opportunity employer.
