Job Description:RESPONSIBILITIES:Write code for APIs Java based applicationsAutomate, Optimize & Execute process Improvements on existing processes.Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of Java (or similar programming language) development experience in a complex environment, such as: large scale web infrastructure or development team.Understanding of monitoring technologies including logging frameworks and tooling.Understanding of architecture, application system design.Experience maintaining and enhancing monitoring.Has an Automation First attitude.Good Understanding of Microservice architecture.Strong experience writing SQL and using databases like SQL Server, Postgres etc.Strong experience creating and communicating with REST and SOAP APIs.Experience with containerized app development for cloud platforms.Experience with Agile.Desired Qualifications:Experience with crypto technologies Symmetric/Asymmetric Keys, PKI.Knowledge of IBM EKMF or other key management applications.ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred; Relevant industry experience can substitute.PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES AND FRAMEWORK:Java 8 and above, KafkaUI dev experience in Angular/React (preferable not mandatory)Backend DBs - Postgres, MySQLWeb Services, Rest APIsScripting Languages (Bash/Python/Perl)Splunk, ELK/KIBANALoad & performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
