We are seeking a proficient IT Program Manager to oversee the delivery of complex IT programs and projects. The IT Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This role involves setting program governance, monitoring project progress, and communicating the status of the projects to all stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be experienced in working with cross-functional teams and managing large scale complex programs and projects simultaneously. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office or San Ramon Valley Conference Center two days a week.Salary Range:
Bay Area Minimum: $140,000; Bay Area Maximum: $238,000.Job Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate various IT projects to ensure they align with business goals and technology strategic objectives.Develop and implement strategic plans for IT programs, including setting project goals, timelines, and performance metrics.Manage program and project budgets, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently.Identify potential risks to project success and develop comprehensive mitigation plans.Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication.Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, changes, and any issues that arise.Track project milestones and assess performance to ensure objectives are met.Ensure project teams have the necessary resources for efficient execution.Maintain comprehensive project documentation for accuracy and accessibility.Ensure robust project governance to comply with internal audit requirements.Drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT program delivery.Skills:
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Has led large scale complex programs to successful completion.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage budgets and resources.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.Qualifications
Minimum:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in technology program and project management.Desired:Experience in PPM Tool such as Planisware.PMP from PMI.SAFe Agilist.SAFe Lean Portfolio Management.
