The Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center invites applications for a Research Scientist faculty position to join the Center for Cardiac Arrest Prevention (CCAP) within the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute, directed by Dr Sumeet Chugh. The base pay range shown above considers various factors including knowledge/skills, relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure, and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.Pay Range: $71,094 - $265,200

QualificationsPh.D. and publications in machine learning, AI, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, data science, or related technical fieldsProficiency in conventional machine learning and deep learning methods, and programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java, as well as deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, or PyCaffe.Expertise in statistics (particularly causal inference) is preferredFour (4+) years of programming experience.Eligible for appointment to the appropriate academic rank in the CSMC Professorial Series.
