Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture will help you.What You’ll be DoingDeveloping new and existing Android native applicationsSupporting and managing Android mobile applications developed in-houseTesting and maintaining various native Android mobile applications to identify processes and development efficiencies and recommending improvementsDocumenting new applications or changes made to existing applicationsSupporting systems to provide continuous integration and automated testing processesMentoring junior developersOther duties as neededAbout You6+ years of experience with Android development4+ years of experience with KotlinProficiency with MVVM architecture or equivalentUnderstanding of Git, and willingness to participate in code reviewsUnderstanding of basic web services, and how they are used by front-end applicationsPublished one (or more) application in the Google Play StoreSolid understanding of the Android release cycleAdvanced understanding of Google APIsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced understanding of the Android Studio IDE and build process (dynamic frameworks, troubleshooting configuration and build issues)Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant technical engineering degree, equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered.Understanding of both imperative and declarative frameworks (Jetpack Compose, Flutter, etc.)MDM experience a plusAbout UsNinjaOne automates the hardest parts of IT, empowering more than 17,000 IT teams with visibility, security, and control over all endpoints. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO.
