GCyber is hiring a
Windows System Administrator
to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO). With the CESO program, the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) is looking to transform the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment, which provides security information sharing to the community, into a more mature service offering to meet the DoD and intelligence communities.
Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.
As a Windows System Administrator, you will:
Provide day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades to hardware, software, and operating systems in a Microsoft Windows Server Environment; must be proficient with Microsoft Windows Server.Monitor health, performance, capacity, and availability of systems.Ensure systems remain patched and compliant at all times.Assist in testing and deployment of new systems and services.Provide support for storage and encrypted file storage capabilities.Provide O&M support for server and desktop-based software application.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance, must be able to obtain a CI/Poly in the future.BS and 4+ years of overall related experience with a Windows servers environment (e.g. 2008r2 and 2012r2).DoD 8570 IAT II certification (i.e., Security+, CySA+, CCNA-Security, CND, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP).Experience with the following:
Configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining VMware environments.Remote Desktop Services.PowerShell scripting and experience in other languages like Python.Application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP).Group Policy Management (GPO) and applying Local Security Policies.Windows Task Scheduler.Managing Active Directory.System (hardware) and applications (software) installation and configuration.
