Common responsibilities of a software engineer on the RA ART team include:Design and develop new Java applications; Maintain existing Java applicationsSupport software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselinesGenerate software design artifacts and support design and code reviewsWhy Join Us• Excellent benefits and amenities• Inclusive work environment• Ongoing career development and support• Rewards and recognition for your hard work• Medical and dental coverage• 401k retirement savings plan• Paid time off for work/life balance• Mentorship opportunitiesBasic Qualifications:• Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position• Experience in one or more aspects of the full software development life cycle (design, development, integration, test, verification) of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment• Experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment• Experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.)Desired Skills:• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams• Security+ or equivalent certification desired within 60 days of starting• Experience resolving cyber/security issues identified by Fortify/SonarQube/etc.• Experience using Eclipse to develop software applications• Experience using Maven or Gradle• Experience using automated unit testing frameworksSecurity Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
