Data Analyst
to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in the greater Hampton Roads (VA) area.Job Description:
Assist our team in managing CeTARS for the SCSTC domain.Provide CeTARS user management and training and interface with SCSTC Learning Sites and other NETC Training Commands.Provide experience in reviewing, updating and evaluating Navy Training Management corporate database systems such as CeTARS and FLTMPS.Analyze data and detect trends as well as summarize findings, draw conclusions and put together presentations.Assist in annual review of training requirements in support of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.Qualifications:
Must have HS Diploma or equivalent 6 years’ experience reviewing, updating and evaluating Navy Training Management corporate database systems.Must be a Navy Instructor, Curriculum Maintenance, and/or similar experience required.Must have experience in supporting Program Objective Memorandum process.Desired Qualifications:
Expert CeTARS knowledge and experience highly preferred.Security Requirements:
Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance.Travel Requirements:
If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (no later than position start date) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Communicating with others to exchange information and repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Subject to outside environmental conditions (extreme cold/heat), subject to noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions (affect the respiratory system), frequently work in close quarters and/or function in narrow aisles or passageways (areas that could cause claustrophobia).
